Beskrivning | While the debate "to stretch, or not to stretch" continues to rage, Tony Lett highlights the benefits of CRAC (contract, relax, agonist, contract) stretching and its uses. Research indicates that, the most effective way to liberate range of motion (ROM)is by using proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF) stretching, particularly the contract-relax, antagonist-contract (CRAC) method. This method basically involves intermittent contractions (of six to eight seconds) while stretching. |
